About

Milton

Milton E. Richie Jr. was a beloved son, family member, friend, and young man whose life touched many people. He was a graduate of Louisville Male High School, Class of 2023, and he was remembered publicly as someone connected to the Dirt Bowl at Shawnee Park, a well known and meaningful part of the Louisville community.

These details only tell part of the story. What mattered most was the person Milton was to the people who loved him. He was someone whose life carried meaning, whose presence mattered, and whose memory deserves to be carried forward with care and purpose.

This foundation honors not only what Milton did, but who he was. It exists so that his life can continue to inspire love, unity, opportunity, and service to others.

Why This Foundation Was Created

The Milton E. Richie Jr. Foundation was created out of a mother’s love and a family’s desire to make sure Milton’s name is remembered with dignity and impact. It is a place where remembrance can meet purpose, and where a legacy can grow into something that serves others.

The goal of this foundation is to support initiatives that reflect the values, dreams, and mission his family chooses to build in his honor. Whether through scholarships, community programs, youth support, events, or charitable outreach, this foundation will stand as a lasting expression of love and legacy.
